While some family businesses succeed in transforming into international brands and/or ensuring continuity between generations, many others disappear in the second generation. Among the reasons for this are;

  • The "family" identity that marked the establishment of the business causes problems in the second and third generations,
  • Encountering problems that the family identity cannot solve during the growth process of the company,
  • During the solution of these problems, the chaos created by the lack of knowledge and experience is transferred to family life and conflicts arise,
  • Uncertainty as to who the company will be transferred to,
